Medical Compression Stockings are a non-invasive method for treating painful symptoms and stopping the progression of vein disease. By providing "graduated" compression -- with the greatest pressure at the ankle and diminishing pressure as the stocking goes up over the calf or thigh - medical compression stockings actually support the weakened vein walls and help them perform the "pumping" action they were designed to do.

Advanced Medical Supply has Certified Fitters who have been educated and trained to measure and fit a variety of medical stockings. Today's compression hose are so sheer and lightweight, they can barely be distinguished from regular fashion stockings.

For patients who do not have a prescription but need support hose we also measure and fit over-the-counter stockings (TEDS).

Advanced Medical Supply can direct bill most insurance carriers and, frequently, compression stocking are a covered item when prescribed by a physician.
